Keeping everyone safe in our ‘new normal’

Whilst the safety of your baby and family has always been my number one priority, the world has changed radically, as a result I must increase precautions to ensure that I am doing everything in my power to keep your precious loved ones safe.

I realise that, should I wish to continue to do the job I love, and to work, there are some changes that I will need to make in the studio, as well as my personal life, to keep the risk as low as reasonably practicable.

In the studio

• Hands to be washed on arrival.

• Gloves and masks will be available.

• All surfaces, including door knobs and other surfaces within the client areas, will be cleaned

  and sanitised before arrival and the studio will be cleaned thoroughly between each client.

• Increased frequency of hand washing/sanitising during shoots and mask worn when social

  distancing cannot be maintained

• Duration of contact to be kept to as short a period as possible.

• Limit the numbers in the studio to as low as practicable at any one time.

• Maintain social distancing in the studio as far as reasonable practicable.

• The number of sessions in the studio will be limited.

• Whilst all fabrics, blankets, etc., used in a shoot are washed after each session, I have

  increased the temperature of the wash.

• Viewing sessions can take place on Zoom to reduce social contact.

Personal changes

I am fortunate that I have had both of my vaccinations and my booster jab. My son is grown up and no longer lives at home which is a great advantage for my clients as I do not have children at school or family members travelling on public transport.
