Family Maternity and Newborn Photography near Esher – A Joyful Journey
I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family from Esher, starting with a maternity shoot and later welcoming them back with their newborn baby and their two older children. I had met them at The Baby and Toddler show in Sandown Park and as a photographer based in Orpington, just a short drive from Esher, I love working with families through these transformative times. Capturing both maternity and newborn moments is such a special privilege, and this family made the entire experience pure joy.
We began with a maternity session, focusing on the beauty of the pregnancy journey and I tried out using the tulips with a white and black background both were successful. The children were full of excitement, making the shoot playful and fun, and we made sure to keep things moving quickly so they wouldn’t get bored. Though these kids were so well-behaved, I’m always mindful of the attention spans of younger children. That’s why I often do shorter, separate shoots with the older siblings—keeping them engaged and happy while giving us time to capture those precious moments.
A number of weeks later, the family returned for their newborn session, and it was such a delight to see them all again.
