I last saw this lovely family in 2013 when Ayla was a little newborn baby. At that shoot we did a shot of Ayla on her brother Kayhan's back and produced a large framed B&W print, we replicated that shot with their new brother Ayham so they can sit side by side on the walls of their home. I really enjoy it when families create images that show the growth of their families and of the children. I am so honoured they chose me again to capture these important memories.
Oh my goodness, this little guy is so stylish and well dressed. His mum loves a monochrome palette and his cake smash reflected this.
I had met Tiernan and his lovely family a year before as they came for a newborn shoot with me . I was really pleased they chose to travel from London to come back for his cake smash; as you can see he had a blast and especially loved the tub!
I was lucky enough to photograph this awesome little lass, Amira when she was a newborn and was delighted when her folks returned to the studio for a cake smash on her 1st birthday.
She looked like a little princess and loved her shoot. I think these are a great way to mark this important milestone and celebrate surviving the 1st year!
The studio has been extremely busy and I have just not had time to blog recently. I am so pleased the weather is changing and we can finally open the windows and get some fresh air into our homes, enjoy a little sunshine and some glorious blue skies. I simple love the UK in the spring, it really is so pretty.
As its spring again I am of course exhibiting at the Baby and Toddler Show at Sandown Park over the weekend. This is a very enjoyable show, the exhibitors are all so nice and I always meet lovely people and enjoy meeting up with my regular clients. I will be at stand C35 and have some great offers for maternity, newborn as well as family shoots this weekend. I would love you to pop by for a chat.
I am so excited to announce that I will be exhibiting at the Excel Baby Show again this year. I do enjoy meeting all those lovely expectant mums and dads and all the families visiting the show. It is great meeting new people!

In 2014 Luke's mum and dad brought his big brother Aaron for his newborn shoot, we got some wonderful photographs in that shoot and I was really pleased that Luke's shoot went as well. Aaron was an awesome brother and so sweet and gentle with little Luke.
Again Flynn's parents came down from Islington so that we could capture some gorgeous memories of this special stage They don't get much cuter than this little man and he was such a happy little chap.
I have had a lot of little girls on the blog recently so I thought I would do some little boys. This is the handsome little Flynn, I am going to be blogging his newborn shoot and then some images from his sitting shoot. I am so flattered that his family chose to drive from Islington in London to do both of his shoots with me. Not only was he a handsome little man but he was also as good as gold during the shoot.
His granny sent me this message after the shoot so that I could pop it on my review page. It really means so much to me when I get these emails, it was a wonderful shoot and I loved meeting you all:
With his parents, I watched my little grandson being photographed by Sue.
She had a magical touch with little Flynn that affected us all.
It brought out feelings of love and togetherness as a family which I will always remember.
Sue has a unique gift which I have never experienced before.
Thank you Sue.
I could not resist blogging this gorgeous family who came for a studio newborn shoot a little while back. Generally during a newborn shoot we concentrate on the baby, if there are siblings we will focus on the children together. I always love taking family pictures and with babies with their mum's and dads. I think it is so lovely for children as they get older to be able to look back at their parents when they were younger. Children never make judgements on their parents, they never see the negative stuff we see when we look in the mirror. I love the emotion in these classic family portraits.
They don't get much cuter than this little set of twins that came from London for their newborn studio shoot last year. We did each twin in a different set of scales so that they could have them hang next to each other on the wall, I think its an awesome idea and very effective.
The gorgeouos Francesca at her 3rd shoot with me. I think you can see by the images that she was simpley a perfect little model at this shoot and LOVED her cake smash! It was hard for me to narrow these down for the blog there were so many great ones to choose from.
This is the gorgeous Francesca, she came to my studio in August 2015 for her newborn shoot. I have been lucky enough to see her several times since then (I will be blogging those shoots over the next few days) for a sitting shoot and also for a cake smash at 1 year old.
I think these children are especially lucky to have these amazing parents who put the time and energy into creating these lovely portraits images that will bring a lifetime of memories for their children and families.
I was really pleased when Francesca's mum and dad returned to the studio for her sitting shoot. She is such a bubbly little lass and we had a lot of fun. How gorgeous this little one's eyes and smile
I would like to start this blog post by saying Happy New Year, I sincerely hope that this year will be a happy, healthy, prosperous and exciting one for us all. I have to say that I am a little embarrassed that I last blogged in September but there is no point in beating myself up about it. The truth is that I prioritise shooting, holding ordering appointments, designing albums and fulfilling my orders over blogging and I run a very busy studio. I literally have hundreds of shoots I would love to blog and find it sad that they never see the light of day, I will try and do better in 2017.
I thought that I would start this year by blogging Bradley and his little brother Sebastian.. I first met them several years ago when his folks did a maternity and newborn shoot with Bradley and his gorgeous family. I was delighted when they contacted me to say they wanted to do the same with their new baby. They have subsequently done a family shoot with both sets of parents but that is for another day and its a real honour that they chose me to document these precious memories.
I usually would have finished doing the set up for the Baby and Toddler Show at Sandown Park today. Because I have done every show since it started years ago at Bluewater and I have special offers planned for this Christmas, I decided to sit this one out. However, I have been contacted by a number of existing and potential clients saying that they are looking forward to seeing me at the Show: so, as a goodwill gesture, I will extend the offers which would have been at the Show to those who book during this weekend. This only will relate to any bookings made between 9 a.m. on 23rd and 5 p.m. on 25th September. For those visiting the show, I am sure it will be wonderful and that you will find some great products and services for your baby. I am greatly looking forward to being back at the Show in April 2017.
